Jimmy is the creator of a new MAKE video series called DiResta, which showcases Jimmy in the shop doing what he does bestfollowing his muse and making magic with a shop-full of power tools, artisan's skill, and lots of flourish.
Breck Baldwin is the President of Alias-i, creators of the popular LingPipe computational linguistics toolkit. He received his Ph.D. in computer science in 1995 from the University of Pennsylvania. In the time between his thesis on coreference resolution and evaluation and founding Alias-i in 1999, Breck worked on DARPA-funded projects through UPenn. Breck is also co-creator of the model aircraft studio, Brooklyn Aerodrome.
Josef Szuecs is a reimagineer of reclaimed materials. He owns Renga Arts -- a store/gallery that offers art and products made from reclaimed, re-used, and re-imagined materials. As well as showcasing the work of talented artisans, Joe also actively creates work along the same lines.
