She is one of the original founders and current president of the Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe, an organization working to create a science center in the last remaining laboratory of scientist and inventor Nikola Tesla. She is currently Vice President of the Wading River Historical Society, and has been past president, and a member for over 30 years.
Slava Rubin is CEO and co-founder of Indiegogo, the world's largest global crowdfunding platform. Since January 2008, the company has embraced an open model, helping people create campaigns in every country around the world. Slava is also the founder of "Music Against Myeloma," an annual charity event that raises funds for and awareness of cancer research.
