Toothpick World has been a 5-year project by one man to re-create famous buildings from around the world--ALL to the same 1:164 scale, and ALL out of 3 million toothpicks and 50 gallons of glue.
Toothpick World, LLC, is a traveling exhibit of 67 buildings (and counting) ALL built out of toothpicks, and ALL built to the same 1:164 scale. 42-year-old creator, Stan Munro of Syracuse, NY, spent the last 6 years re-creating famous landmarks from around the world using his computer and 30 years "toothpicking" experience to bring architecture, engineering, and world culture to museums across the country and around the world.
