littleBits is an open-source library of electronic modules that snap together with tiny magnets for prototyping and play. Each bit has a simple, unique function (light, sound, sensors, buttons, motors, etc), and modules snap to make larger circuits.
Ayah Bdeir is an engineer and founder of littleBits. She is a graduate of the MIT Media Lab and has been awarded fellowships with Eyebeam, Creative Commons and recently, TED.
