About the Maker(s)

Andy Graham

- Andy Graham Productions

After first asking permission, inventor and musician Andy Graham disassembled his first washing machine at the age of three. Extracting the motor, he walked into the living room and to the surprise of his mother, stripped it of the casing as he explored the mysteries inside the machine. This is the same approach that led him into the world of music and machine. Andy spent his youth absorbing the influences of serious rockers Neil Peart and Stewart Copeland. Inspired, Andy began playing drums at the age of 12. In 1992 Mickey Hart's Planet Drum recordings brought him further into the heart of music, Andy's drumming style was transformed by Hart's mastery of rhythm and groove.
