Dogzilla was built by the Lower Eastside Girls Club of New York, as a companion to Girlzilla, the club's 2010 World Maker Faire entry. Dogzilla moves on its motorized base, can bark, and is charged by a solar dog house.
The Lower Eastside Girls Club is an arts, science, and environmental center for community youth. We are building a new facility with a digital Fab Lab, Book Arts Studio, cafe and bakery, Airstream recording studio, and 30 ft planetarium - opening in Fall, 2012.
