Maker Faire Detroit 2011

Bettula

Birch bark jewelry is made from harvested bark off of fallen trees. I process the bark and find the usable pieces, clean and cut into the desired shapes. Then each piece of bark is finished by sanding and coating with a poly varnish. Finally, new and vintage findings complete the jewelry designs.
