Rabid Hands

Rabid Hands is a collective of artists that formed out of a shared desire to make work that interacts with and overtakes spaces in order to create an exploration of creativity and connection. Founded in 2010, this seven person collective organizes hubs for collaborations and experiences that swell beyond the capacity of the collective itself by continually gathering a multitude of creators. This alchemy creates situations that explode with life. We bring together opportunities to work on projects that do not fit into an orthodox gallery. Our artistic process is to activate abandoned structures or undeveloped locations with ephemeral experiences. We use the collective to form the process from which the art emerges. Through interactive installations, sculptures, soundscapes, landscapes, city-scapes and other immersive art forms we manifest the abstract, and turn it into something that is accessible to a diverse audience. Curating cohesion among those participating promotes collaboration across a variety of different mediums, fostering an environment where enthusiasm and expression thrive.
