I have designed a walking device that provides better stability and mobility to seniors while walking over varied surfaces — specifically, stability over uneven paths, staircases, and getting in and out of cars.

I am an eighth grader at Challenger School, Palo Alto. I will be attending Saint Francis High School this fall. My hobbies include Tae Kwon Do and classical dance. I was inspired to do this project after observing the difficulty my grandmother had in maneuvering with her current walking stick.
