Opabina Regalis (Opa) is a kinetic sculpture of a 3-nch pre-Cambrian sea creature. Composed of metal mesh and steal with side-by-side bicycles, Opa is now 18 feet long, 9 feet wide and 8 feet tall with a dragon’s breath flame effect.
Opa was created by 5 core artists/engineers: Deena Blaylock, Katie Kirk, Glenn Nitzche, Bobbie Pires and Kurt Pires.
