Water Totter 2 uses kid power from a seesaw to drive a water fountain in two ways:
1) A piston is attached to the seesaw compresses and extends as it moves up and down.
2) A water wheel lifts the water using a belt-and-pulley system.
Lena and her dad Kurt couldn't resist making something again this year despite the time commitments of middle school. The Young Sparks makers are 10 to 12 year-olds, plus Kurt. They are based in the East Bay.
