We're a biologist and an industrial designer building open source biology research tools: an OpenBio Tool Kit. The cornerstone of modern biotechnology is PCR, a DNA replication technique. We have started the Tool Kit by designing a PCR machine, which we're calling Thermotyp. (It had to have a cool name.)
