Sweet Meats are handmade plush objects that look like various cuts of meat. They are made out of super cuddly polar fleece (made from recycled plastic containers!), cotton quilting thread and poly fiberfill stuffing. All of the meats come in individual (toy) size and some also come in family (pillow) size. Sweet Meats also makes various other meat-themed items, such as shirts, aprons, buttons, cards and jewelry.
Lauren Venell is product designer, artist, and small business consultant from San Francisco. She is the creator of "Sweet Meats," and the co-founder and programming director for the Conference of Creative Entrepreneurs. Lauren lives and works with her husband, Andy, and her ornery parrotlet, Elvis.
