First formed in April of 2005 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of north Texas{ where they won best folk acoustic act in 2007}, by Brothers Adam and Darrin Kobetich and ever since, "the Gang" has been hammering out it's own brand traditionalist inspired music, even mixing a bit of Eastern Europe with the Grass. Adam Kobetich moved to Austin TX in 2007 and with the current line up the hellbent bluegrass continues......"The Austin faction of the ebullient Electric Mountain Rotten Apple Gang fiercely possesses mandolin, accordion, banjo, and upright."
