Maker Faire Tokyo is set for this Sunday and Monday, Nov. 3-4. The fair is in its second year and will be held again at the National Museum of Emerging Science & Innovation. Last year's event attracted about 10,000 attendees and this year is expected to be even bigger. Here's a sampling of what's on tap.

The third annual Atlanta Mini Maker Faire was this past Saturday on Georgia Tech's campus. The weather was nice, the football team had an away game (therefore leaving the campus devoid of rowdy fans), and the Makers were out in full swing. Here are a few highlights, in photo form.
The Atlanta Mini Maker Faire surrounded the Tech Green at Georgia Tech on Saturday, attracting an estimated 10,000 attendees to see rockets, robots, steampunk, 3D printers, woodworking, kinetic sculptures, art bikes, lawnbots, a mobile makerspace and much more.
Miami will hold its first Maker Faire Nov. 16. Sponsored by the Knight Foundation, the Miami Mini Maker Faire has already attracted more than 60 makers. The event is an initiative of MIAMade, an organization dedicated to supporting the local maker community.
